Publications

The Research Centre for the History of Greek Law (Κέντρον Ἐρεύνης τῆς Ἱστορίας τοῦ Ἑλληνικοῦ Δικαίου) of the Academy of Athens was founded in 1929 under the name Archives of the History of Greek Law (Ἀρχεῖον τῆς Ἱστορίας τοῦ Ἑλληνικοῦ Δικαίου), due to the initiative of Demetrios Pappoulias. Since 1948, the Centre has published the Yearbook of the Archives of the History of Greek Law. Since vol. 10/11 (1963-64) the Yearbook has appeared under the title Yearbook of the Research Centre for the History of Greek Law (Ἐπετηρίς τοῦ Κέντρου Ἐρεύνης τῆς Ἱστορίας τοῦ Ἑλληνικοῦ Δικαίου: Ε.Κ.Ε.Ι.Ε.Δ./EHHD). In the far-published volumes, the Yearbook includes articles and studies concerning all the periods of Greek legal history. From volume 34 onwards, a series of Supplements has been published, including monographs or editions of legal sources relating to the history of Greek law in Greek and in other foreign languages.
