Calendar of Events of the World War II concerning Greece

The aim of the project is to record in brief the most significant events of 1940-1944 concerning Greece. British and American archives are used at the present stage of the project to register military and political, as well as social and economical facts.

The Calendar of Events 1940-1944 based on the FO documents has been entered in a data base allowing multiple and specialised search by scholars visiting the Centre and will soon on the Centre’s web page.
M. Spiliotopoulou is currently working on a Calendar of Events according to the British Secret Service Special Operations Executive documents. This Calendar is also entered in a data base and will be published as an electronic book in English.
The documents used in this project are kept in microfilm in the Centre, where the library is also hosting relevant publications.
